We tried dining at Best Sushi last night, hoping the food would live up to the name. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from start to finish.
We ordered 16 pieces of sushi to start (two rolls and four pieces of nigiri) with the intention of ordering more. However, after eating just six pieces between the two of us, we couldn’t continue. The rice was overly thick and gummy—chewy to the point of being unpleasant. The seafood itself also tasted off, with an overly “fishy” flavor that suggested it wasn’t fresh.
The young man serving us noticed something was wrong and was kind, but he seemed unsure how to handle the situation. I explained the problem, but no solution was offered. At the very least, I expected some acknowledgment—perhaps even a partial adjustment to the bill, since more than half our food was left untouched. Instead, we paid the full 24€ and left still hungry, going to another restaurant afterward.
As experienced sushi eaters, we can say with confidence that this was far from “the best.” Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially given both the food quality and the lack of customer...

The presentation of the food clearly showed the love of the chef to his craft and formed a complete culinary...
Read moreThe sushi is surprisingly good. The rice was on point, and everything tasted on a level I was not expecting. The restaurant was empty, and one could understand why. The atmosphere needs an upgrade (music too loud, low quality chairs and tables) and the general cleanliness of the space needs to improve, I think that's what keeping people away. The truth is, give these kids a chance, they do make very good sushi in the end and you'll not be disappointed. The staff was very friendly, but please do pay more attention to the cleanliness...
