Brasileirinho — Restaurant in Porto

I'm really sad to write this, but I've had two HORRIBLE experiences from this restaurant. First, I tried this about two weeks ago and, the very next day, I had gastroenteritis with diarrhea and stomach cramps that lasted almost a week and I had to take antibiotics and see 2 doctors. Now, I thought this was unrelated to this restaurant. But then I had it again on Sunday and, again, it caused the SAME EXACT ISSUES! (And I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is from this restaurant because there's nothing else I would've eaten that could've caused this problem.) It's so frustrating and maddening because of the pain and bathroom issues... not to mention that I can't eat anything anymore!!! Now I know they have great reviews and they are going to say it's not them, etc. etc. But I don't have an intolerance to any ingredient and both GI issues coincide PERFECTLY to the timing of eating at this restaurant. Look, maybe I was just really unlucky both times... I get it. But at the same time, I have a right to share what happen and that's what I'm doing....

Garçom rude e grosseiro. Infelizmente não gostou de nos atender ao fim de seu turno. Ficaram falando próximos a nós que queriam ir embora, reclamando. Nos sentimos constrangidos a sair do restaurante e nós ficamos lá por exatamente 50 minutos, o que não é muito. Como a situação estava deixando alguns funcionários tensos, que estavam reclamando alto entre si, eu expliquei que havia escolhido o restaurante, por ser dia da mães. E que, bem, era um dia especial.

Mas fui respondida em tom de sarcasmo. O que é uma pena. Notadamente faltou trato e educação ao funcionário.

Deviam fechar as portas mais cedo, já que os garçons não gostam de atender no final do dia.

Sobre a comida, eu gostei dos pratos na hora, mas depois passei mal, e não fui só eu. São bem carregados no sal. A picanha que era para ser o melhor prato da mesa, estava muito passada.

Não vale a pena ir ao restaurante, ainda por cima com altas expectativas, para ser tratada assim. Tem tantos outros restaurantes brasileiros bons, o capim dourado, o brasa nobre, igrejinha. Nem no salve simpatia, que está sempre lotado, fui tratada assim.

Para mais, acabei de notar que o proprietário, ainda por cima, não lida bem com críticas, pelas respostas abaixo. Por isso vou acrescentar à última avaliação ruim que não foi um erro entre aspas, foi um erro verdadeiro. Eu pedi claramente, três pratos, para três pessoas, como faz sentido e ainda apontei no cardápio, porque sei que as vezes o garçom pode entender mal (até porque, assim como vocês, nós somos imigrantes na Europa e estamos acostumados com isso). Enfim, isso nem foi um problema para mim, errar é normal, e o senhor que estava nos atendendo no início nos atendeu bem.

Mas, como proprietário, responder o cliente dizendo que o garçom não se enganou, e pôr em questão o que o cliente está dizendo (claramente porque ouviu o contrário da sua equipe…), acabou piorando a minha impressão.

Não retorno e não recomendo. Foi...

Went out for a casual family dinner. Had high expectations for a place with such a high ranking. The value for money is the big win for this place. Big portions of food for good money. The plate dishes were very good both the vegetarian option and the chicken one and the coahlo cheese was amazing. The burger and the rump top were tasty yet over cooked and well done which was kind of a bummer for a place with this kind of rating. Hopefully it was a one time mistake or the restaurant preference. Besides that the caperiniha was excellent with a good balance of flavor. All around it was a good experience and we got out...
