Some people have recommended this place for us to try... I wouldn't call it one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood, no. It was an okay experience. The atmosphere was a bit odd, it felt like we were in a canteen, quite noisy too. The humidity in this place was wild!! Make sure to go in with shorts on and a t-shirt, or you'll leave soaking in your own sweat. The Codfish pastries were too salty, and so was the rice it came with. We couldn't finish all My partner loved his meat! It was perfectly done the way he likes it, quite pink. The rice again, was very salty and the fries soggy. The service on the other hand was amazing, the guy who served us did it so well too, super friendly. The only minus point was that he said he mentioned the fries and rice being separately charged when ordering the meat, which no other restaurant so far has done, also, we didn't hear him say such things, so we had to pay €4 extra for the fries and rice. It's also quite pricey for what they serve, it's not even such a touristic part of the city. I wouldn't recommend it when there are better places for cheaper and better looking too. But if you want a good piece of beef, this is it!

I visit the restaurant for a quick stop in Porto with a friend of mine who never been in Portugal. The lady Antonia - very lovely and friendly she immediately serve us and host very well amazing customer service.the food absolutely delicious. Typical Portuguese with full of favour. Thank you for the lady she definitely make our time very good and pleasant. Well done to her 5***** ( for the other hostess ( males)next time be more friendly we visit this place because of the very nice reviews on Google not just to eat fracesinha or hot dogs but I can tell the food YES it’s absolutely good - and once again well done to Antonia to make sure we eat very well :) love it

Went to the takeaway place just around the corner from the seated restaurant but very much part of the same brand. We were tempted by the grill on display in the window. A friendly lady at the till thankfully spoke English and took our order. Although it was a busy Wednesday evening, the food was ready within 15 minutes, placed in convenient plastic bags and resealable boxes. The chicken was decent and the chips were crispy. We also got some kale soup which prevented dryness in the meal. Overall, this is a convenient place to grab food if you're local as you can get a lot of food and wine for €12 that'll easily feed two people. Recommended.

Should be better food and more plentiful for the prices. 42 euro for a racion (for two people) of Lulas and prawns. Received a huge plate of fried potato and five prawns (not enough and also not divisible by two people). A few lulas. The lulas were nicely cooked but not many at all for twonpeople. For that price we would expect lots of seafood. Also the appetisers are overpriced and poor quality. I know you need to pay for appetisers but they charge nearly 8 euro for 6 small breaded prawns. These were dry, cold and not freshly cooked. 4 euros for four tiny pieces of ham and cheese sandwich. They did begrudgingly take the prawns off the bill as we were dissatisfied with the quality and the price. Please read and pay attention to the negative reviews before going here. There are so many better value places you can...
