Eddie's Klub is what a whiskey bar should be! Absolute gem of a place anywhere in the world. Boasting well over 180+ whiskeys, you will be amazed with the selections you can find for just a couple of euros. Exclusive releases, discontinued bottlings & niche offerings to expand your whiskey profile. As it goes with every whiskey bar, you must begin with picking the knowledge of your barmen. Eddie & João are extremely approachable & have a vast knowledge world whiskey. They were quick to adhere to my profile as well as provide some selections if I would choose to branch out to more unknown horizons. What really takes their hospitality to the above & beyond level is the care they took with my girlfriend who is not much of a drinker. They meticulously went through her flavor profile on foods & spirits to find what whiskeys they'd believe she'd enjoy. After several tastings, we found something she'd return to at the proper time.

What had planned to be a pop in turned into a full night of traveling the whiskey world. Trying whiskeys from over 10 countries, sampling offerings of my favorite distilleries & comparing them against those provided to independent bottlers. Learning new factoids about each region & producer. & of course, exchanging stories on the times we found great whiskeys & the people we enjoyed them with.

I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS BAR MORE THAN 5 STARS!

Such a dope whiskey bar! Possibly the best I have ever been to, and I've been to a few in my time. It was especially shocking because it's not the type of specialty bar I would expect in Portugal, and especially not outside a busy central area in a much quieter neighbourhood.

Eddie knows his stuff, for sure. I have rarely come across someone who so truly loves and embodies what he does. His enthusiasm and breadth of knowledge are so vast. And it's not just scotch, or Irish whiskey. He has a huge selection of American bourbons (my favourite) and other international whiskies. And honestly, some INCREDIBLY rare bottles that are just there -- to try! He's not a hoarder or collector who only keeps them for himself. He wants to share them with anybody who is excited about whiskey too. And, yeah, the rare stuff has a decent price tag, but it's so very worth it. I discovered Irish whiskeys I didn't know existed and now have become my favourite and ryes that blew my mind.

His contagious love for whiskey is the best part about this place. I'm shocked that it's not packed on a daily basis, but then I'm glad it's not or else their ultra rare bottles would be...

Literally one of my favourite whisky bars I’ve been to around the world! I’m always on the lookout for great whisky bars and great selections and this bar is simply amazing.

They have such a great selection of over 50 bottles of whisky and the attention to detail of picking each bottle combined with their knowledge and passion for whisky is truly an unmatched experience. One of the bar tenders essentially took me through my own tasting by asking which bottles I usually like and he found me three new bottles of whisky that I absolutely love now! I find it rare if I find a place where I can discover one new bottle I love, let alone 3.
