I visited expecting authentic Egyptian cuisine, but unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. The food was not only poorly executed but also lacked any genuine Egyptian flavor. Dishes that should have been bursting with spices and flavor felt bland and uninspired. It was clear that the menu was not representative of true Egyptian cuisine.
The service was equally disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making the entire dining experience feel rushed and impersonal. Our requests were either ignored or met with indifference, and it was evident they didn’t care about providing a pleasant experience.
Considering the prices, I expected much more in terms of quality and authenticity. Unfortunately, Gharb falls far short, both in terms of food and service. I would not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a real taste of Egypt or even decent dining experience in Porto. By the way, I...
Read moreWe visited this bar with the intention of enjoying a quick drink, but unfortunately, the experience took a significant toll on our afternoon. Upon arrival, we were met by a server who appeared disinterested and did not offer a smile. This server was professional and courteous, which was a welcome change, but by that point, our plans had already been disrupted. Additionally, we were disappointed to find that the bar did not have straws available for our drinks.
While we appreciated the kindness of the second server, the overall experience was far from satisfactory. We hope that management takes these issues into consideration to improve their service...

We came back at dinner time to try the Kebab and the Lentil soup. The Kebab 🥙 is well balanced and the black pig fat helps the drier lamb meat to cluster together. The lentil soup🍲 was a bit too plain, I would prefer extra turmeric and chilly flakes, but perhaps this is the traditional way, since I only know the taste of the lentil soup of German turkish joints.
They have inside tables and also two terraces, one in the front with a sunny and touristy vibe, the other in the back, without direct sun exposure in the afternoon but with a more chilled neighborhood vibe. The team is very lively and efficient. All in all one of the most original fusion...
