Kuji Coffee — Restaurant in Porto

I was initially drawn to this café because of its undeniably beautiful and aesthetic decor — it’s the kind of place that looks great in photos. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

The customer service was disappointing, to say the least. The woman running the place (a Russian lady, I believe) was neither welcoming nor professional. She doesn’t speak Portuguese and barely communicates in English, which made ordering a frustrating experience.

Today was particularly hot, and when I politely asked if the fan could be directed toward my table, her abrupt response was: “But that’s for me!” That says a lot about how much (or how little) customer comfort is valued here.

Despite the café being almost empty, it took her over 20 minutes to prepare three coffees — mine arrived cold. As for the cakes, they looked appealing but unfortunately tasted the opposite: dry, bland, and not worth the calories.

Aesthetic or not, a café experience should be pleasant and hospitable. Sadly, this one was not. I won’t...

Without a doubt Kiki is the most chilled of the speciality coffees I've been in Porto. Food: delicious, we had the honey cake (a beautiful taste I have never tried before), and apple tart (I'm not a fan of cooked apple but I would have more than 1 slice of this) and the great surprise: the Katsu crispy turkey... You have to try this! On drinks we had coffees and they were perfect, we have an ice strawberry latte that was so tasty. 개인적으로 포르투 스페셜티 전문점 중에 가장 맘에 들어요. For a little over a year now, I've been wandering around Porto's specialty coffee shops. I'm a person who is always looking for a cafe to settle down in, no matter where I live, and I'm happy to finally be able to say that this is the best place, at least for me.

It's a place that delivers on all fronts: a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to come back for a break, a menu that offers a variety of coffee experiences without being overwhelming, a customer experience that includes the use of application, music, small events, and a host who is always welcoming.
