I visited Molete Bread and Breakfast at Passeio de São Lázaro 5, Porto, with my daughter for a quick bite. We ordered a sandwich and an orange juice. A friendly Brazilian lady took our order, and another staff member brought it to our table. Unfortunately, the wrong order was delivered, and we ended up with two sandwiches instead of one. I was distracted and took a bite of the sandwich before realizing the mistake. Some other customers were looking at us, likely because we had taken their order. The delivery lady had mistakenly given us the wrong food. When I tried to clarify the situation, a very angry Portuguese lady loudly accused me of eating an order that wasn’t mine. I was shocked by how poorly the situation was handled. I offered to pay for both my original order and the incorrect one to avoid any trouble for the staff, as I didn’t want anyone to lose their job over this mistake. After paying the difference, I sat outside for a few minutes. To make matters worse, the owner announced very loudly that they would be closing soon, which only added to my frustration. The way they treated their customers and staff was unacceptable.

We visited Molete Bread and Breakfast and had a really nice experience. The 6 euro breakfast combo was a great deal. It came with freshly squeezed orange juice, regular coffee, a warm croissant sandwich with ham and Swiss cheese, and a small bun with butter inside. Everything was fresh and satisfying, and the portions were just right to start the day. We also tried one of their pastries, which was light, not too sweet, and clearly homemade. It paired perfectly with the coffee. The place has a relaxed local feel and the staff were friendly. It's an easygoing spot that offers good food at a fair price. If you're nearby in the morning, it's worth stopping in for a comfortable and tasty breakfast.

We stopped here one morning for pastries, sandwiches, drinks, and espresso, and everything was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the person we interacted with spoke exceptional English, making the experience even better. They were also very attentive and informative about allergies, which we appreciated. There was both indoor and outdoor seating, and it seemed to be a popular spot, with many locals stopping by while we were there. A great place for a quick and tasty bite.

Not a great breakfast experience. There is no real menu of what is available, just four pictures of different combinations of things (e.g croissant with ham and cheese and an orange juice for 2.50) and a counter with a mix of stuff (sweet baked goods with sandwiches). The croissant is dense, more like milk bread or brioche, and the sandwiches are all cold (except the tostas, which are toasted). The best thing to have there is a bread that is baked with cured meats and cheese and red peppers inside. We saw it in the counter and asked for a piece (it's massive, but don't be put off by the size, they will cut it for you). The coffee is mediocre and the orange juice is very concentrated. There are much better breakfast places out there, but you'll pay more. Four of us (two adults and two kids) ate for 12.50 and had some left over. If you can afford it, though,...

We ordered 4 times the toast menu's. They put it on just 2 plates and put it clearly in front of just two of our people. That makes us obviousely think that these were just ours. After eating the whole plate and realizing my two friends didn't receive their order yet, we asked where the order was. They told that that was all. So we had to order it again for my friends. We tried to explain that it was a mistake from them since they clearly and on purpose just in front of two people so they can charge us more and make us think it is our fault. So we had to pay for two menus extra. If I tried to explain their mistake and not wanting to pay double, they were going to call the police?! Besides that, they were not friendly when we came etc. I was never offended like this and I had never...
