First impression, clean, neat, orderly and formal. Once you sit down you realise you're back in the '90s. Great service, couldn't say anything bad about it. The menu, simple, not too many dishes and in multiple languages. Complementary bread (really nice, tasty) spreadable tuna, cheese and butter to serve while waiting for your order. We had Portuguese style steak and flame grilled sardines with peppers. My steak (meat) was not bad at all, nicely done, juicy and I would say it was medium rare. The potatoes were quite salty, the onion was good, tasty but everything was just floating in oil. The sauce itself might've been nice if the oil wouldn't take everything from it. The sardines were quite smelly, not in a bad way, but almost improper washed, the ocean smell was very very pregnant. They weren't too fresh either. Anyway, long story short, homemade type of '90s food, we will not go there anymore and won't recommend it either. Shameful, so much...

We had lunch here for the first time on a Saturday noon or 1. They have a snack bar on the ground level but the restaurant is downstairs. It's very nice. The tables were all nicely set. The prices were a little on the high side but that's fairly normal for that location in Porto. The service was perfect! We ordered picanha for 2 (1 dose) which came with 4 PC of meat, rice, fries and black beans. The picanha was thicker than what I'm used to and was cooked perfectly. We also ordered their house vinho verde that comes in a jar. I highly recommend that you always order the house wine from a restaurant and make sure that it is made from a farmer (fazendeiro). Not all restaurants have that, but it's worth asking. It's always cheaper and in our almost 11 months of living here, it tastes...

I just wouldn't raccomend this place. Most of the food is terrible and there are just a couple of dishes that were passable. The meat was too salty, the side dishes were just green mashed bread mixed with green vegetables and reheated fries. The fishfilet was basically tasteless and the panade horrible. Just the grilled swordfish was worth to be eaten. The dessert menu was just a menu of Cart d'Or productions and a few of local specialties. Don't make our mistake of eating...

The food was amazing and the service was unparalleled. I highly recommend this understated elegant restaurant for a great dining experience. I ordered the stewed tongue with peas, it is served with rice. My husband had the calamari steaks which was served with a side dish of potatoes and broccoli. Nuno was our server, a highly experienced gentleman who was attentive and very deft. Kudos to a great dining experience!
