Bloomy Market is within the big pink municipal market building, with entrances on the street and within the indoor mercado. There are a limited number of tables in the compact space. I don't know whether more tables spill out onto the street in Summer.
The eatery offers a range of sandwiches, salads, pastries and other dishes, along with coffees, juices, wine and craft beer from the region. The food is vegetarian and incredibly tasty. Portions are generous.
The staff are efficient, very friendly and speak English.

Best vegan/vegetarian cafe I've visited yet. Galão coffee is absolutely divine, as are the croissants. And I felt absolute food FOMO when I saw someone served the soup of the day. So if you're looking for a hearty, healthy meal - this is your place.
Adore the chic design with lots and lots of plants. A place to enjoy, peoplewatch and feel totally at home. I also had a lovely chat with Judith, one of the staff, all of whom are friendly and kind. And it's seconds from the fresh produce market, so plenty to do and see in between.

You walk in there and it's a quiet and stylish oasis right next to the busy market (make sure to visit that too - open till 14:00) and are welcomed by this lovely little lady with the brightest of smiles. If you don't speak portuguese (like us last year when we went there for the very first time), no worries, she speaks English.
