3.5 stars-Good looking menu of the usuals-pizzas, pastas, salads, and calzones. As I was good and hungry this afternoon, I chose to order a calzone. Menu showed many pre-designed filling options but I was able to create my own thanks to the lovely staff here. Ham, onion, mushrooms and mozzarella plus tomato sauce was the choice. My DW chose lighter fare, a traditional Mista salad that was exactly what she was hoping for-fresh vegetables with a light oil and vinegar dressing. As we waited for our order, another patron’s calzone came by. It was ginormous! Mine was soon delivered and it too was almost football sized. It appeared to be perfectly cooked, lovey brown bake with a bit of a char. Clearly made by hand. But unfortunately, as I cut into it it became apparent that the moisture from the ingredients-sauce, ham, mushrooms-inside had (and would continue to) really turn the bottom crust into a soppy mess. Also, the interior was not very hot. I can only assume that the cooking process just created warmth inside that caused the moisture to leach from the ingredients while the crust baked completely. It was a disappointment but the ham was especially tasty.

We always walk by this spot inside the Mercado do Livramento and decided to give it a try first before going to their main restaurant near Parque do Bonfim. If the restaurant in Bonfim is anything like this little satellite site, we can't wait to try it too! Absolutely delicious food. My wife ordered the marguerita pizza and I had the pasta bolhonesa. Bohhonesa is what I always order at an Italian restaurant on my first visit as a benchmark dish by which to compare. This bolhonesa was one of the best I've had anywhere! We accompanied the meal with a couple of glasses of house red and finished off with an excellent tiramisu and coffee. Can't wait to go back. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

We ordered the focaccia and it was 5 stars. Pizzas are good, but the cheese is just too much... The big blocks of cheese, makes the pizza taste 90% of only cheese. The deserts were also good. The winner was the focaccia for sure. Price is good (15€ per person) without wines. The service is good and friendly! There isn't that much seatings and they don't accept cards, only money.

We ate lunch there with seven people. We ordered mozarela appetizers, and six pizzas. Everyone loved their pizzas, and we were able to bring home left overs to eat in the evening. The pizzas has a thin and wonderful crust, and the restaurants offers many different kinds of pizzas and topics to suit every taste. They also have pasta. The bill was reasonable, at about 10 euro’s per person for food, and we ordered a delicious...
