Novo 10 — Restaurant in Setúbal

I'd like to share my personal feedback on Novo 10. While I usually avoid giving negative feedback, I want to ensure others don't encounter the same issues. My family and I dined there tonight. The meat was mediocre, the bread stale, and the chips cold. My soup arrived after everyone else had finished eating, followed by a T-bone steak that was extremely dry and smelled bad. Despite being hungry, I couldn't swallow it due to the smell and dryness. I politely informed the manager, who offered to replace the steak, but I declined due to feeling ill from the odor. They insisted on recooking it, but I refused. However, the steak remained on the bill, with no gesture of apology such as removing it or offering a complimentary coffee. Had a horrible experience here. First the waitress spilled wine all over the table, plates and my lap while pouring and did not even acknowledge that it happened. We (4 girls) ordered a Espetada each obviously not knowing how much food it comes with, the waitress made a face but did not inform us that we were literally ordering more than a kilos worth of meat each, in no world would we have been able to finish all that food. It’s not even a matter of feeling scammed out of our money or the lack of common decency, it’s the fact that so much meat was willingly wasted and thrown away. The worst part is that the meat wasn’t even edible, it was dry bland and hard to chew. When the bill arrived they also had the audacity to charge us for a mixed salad that we never received. We went here for lunch today and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. When we sat down, the table was already set but missing basic things like glasses and napkins, which gave a poor first impression. Even worse, we had to wait around 40 minutes before anyone came to take our order. This only happened after the chef himself repeatedly asked the staff to finally come to our table. The waiter who eventually arrived did not even bother to apologize for the long wait.

It was not because the place was too crowded, but rather because the waiters seemed to completely ignore us, even though they clearly saw we were seated.
