My wife, mother and I stopped for lunch. We had the grilled chicken, the baked cod in corn meal, and chicken piri-piri. We also ordered the olives, bread, and a liter of their house red wine. While everything was absolutely delicious, I took top prize for the delicious peri-peri chicken, but everything was very satisfying. Olives were marinated in garlic and oregano, and so wonderful. The service was excellent. When I was done with my chicken, I realized I had managed to get drops of chicken grease/juice on my shirt. Chicken with mushrooms (in Tomar it always means champignons) was ok. At least there was no fried egg on top. The menu lacks basic information about the dishes. Vegetable soup had no taste at all. Costoleta de borego was average but had the feeling the meet was taken out of the freezer when we ordered it.
