The hubs gets REALLY hungry after drinking: sounds dramatic, but we HAVE to find food or else he will perish from this world. We found this place given the sandwich boards says EUR10 for salmon. Our server is a lady with glasses and she recommended the seabass aside from the salmon. We ordered at 7:09pm and our orders came at 7:18pm.

Taste, portion, price: Salmon for EUR10: large portion and fresh tasting. The salmon was cooked really well on our opinion. Not overcooked. The flavours of the salmon is retained. Seabass for EUR10: also large portion and fresh tasting. I love taking apart the whole fish and if you enjoy it as much as I do, you will enjoy this dish.

The patio where we sat is a great place for people watching along the stretch of the river front.

Incredible little family owned restaurant overlooking the water. The restaurant goes back several generations and it definitely shows. Traditional, delicious food served with passion and upmost hospitality. We had the garlic prawns and codfish bake- both were delicious- perfectly cooked with lots of flavour.

They really impressed me when I got oil from the shrimp all over my white pants. The server (which is actually the owner’s granddaughter) saved the day when she pulled out a special spray that took out the stain like magic. They were prepared and treated us like family.

Overall fantastic experience in an ever growing touristy hotspot.

On the opposite side to the reviews quarter -this bar is a must visit! Do one of the Port wine tours before lunch -then amble along to here.! Superb service -superb food -all cooked fresh -so don't be in a hurry! Maybe a port to start or like we did bottle of wine- two glasses please and just enjoy the views of your seated outside if not the interior is full of ship models and shipping artifacts. Bit of banter with the owner and his son -and your food arrives. Try the Franchestina (local dish) you won't be eating anything major again that day!! Calamari was to die for!!
