Read moreThis place's vibe is all off. Low ceiling, rickety floorboards, LED strip lighting on the ceiling - most of which was off or broken, mirrors on the the walls, the outdoor seating is pretty uncomfortable and the awning doesn't extend across the full patio so if it rains, expect to lose your seat. (This is for the safety of the staff which is completely valid)
We came at sunset and they were blasting house music (which I love) but it made it hard to hear people at my own table because the entire place is parallel flat surfaces - plus the typical crowd is in their 50s and none of them seemed to like it. That's a shame because the location is perfect. It overlooks downtown Porto and would be the perfect place for a quiet evening nightcap before heading back down into town.
Little love goes into the food - the Patatas Bravas were...fine. Think bar food in America or the UK. But you'll be paying tourist prices here - €16-30 for a bottle of wine that you could get for much cheaper at a wine shop a few blocks away. Cafe drinks like tea and coffee are much more affordable.

Instead, I'd grab some drinks and sit with the locals in the (free!) outdoor park that overlooks the city five steps away. If this place were to work on its vibe - think cute cafe overlooking a beautiful Portuguese seaside city rather than overpriced tourist trap euro-club - it could be amazing! You have the perfect location. Now put some...
Read moreDuring our trip, we had the pleasure of visiting a fantastic restaurant that not only boasted breathtaking views but also served up some of the most delicious food and wine we’ve ever had.
The restaurant was situated in an ideal location, overlooking the beautiful city of Porto. The view was simply stunning and definitely added to the overall experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting.
We ordered a plate of Pastel de Bacalhau, which is a traditional Portuguese codfish pastry, and it was phenomenal. The pastry was perfectly crispy on the outside, and the filling was rich and flavorful. It was fantastic.
The highlight of our night was undoubtedly the wine. Being in Porto, we couldn't resist trying some of the local port wine. The wine was expertly paired with our meal, and the flavors complemented each other perfectly. It was an out of this world experience, and I highly recommend it to any wine enthusiast.
