Cons:

1)the bathroom has a sewer smell that no matter how many potpourri/ air fresher (we counted at least 4 on one floor!!!!) does not mask it!!!!! And we are also very allergic to all the air fresheners in that place! 2) the person who checked us in don’t really know the apartment well. We couldn’t find the remote and she has no idea. We couldn’t get the wifi working because of bad instructions and she was of no help, even gave us the wrong info. When we check in, she kept telling us to input the door code… for the wrong door. 3) the address is confusing. We were on the lower floor apartment but there was no indication (eg enter via xxxx street instead of what google maps tells you). So our uber driver dropped us at the top, and we had to lug our luggage all the way down to the bottom 4) stair cases- everywhere!

Ultimately it was the bathroom that we couldn’t stand and the idea of getting that friendly but really clueless staff member to help that drove us to abandon our three night stay after one night and went elsewhere instead.

SUPER, ZENTRAL gelegen und alkes gut fussläufig zu erreichen. Wir hatten zu Dritt diese schöne Ferienwohnung gemietet. Toll war, dass die Wohnung sich über 2 Etagen mit 2 Bädern erstreckte. Es waren auch 2 Kühlschränke vorhanden. Räumlich großzügig. Es ist eine Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine vorhanden uns eine kleine Kaffeemaschine. Allerdings mussten wir Kapseln nachkaufen, die dann nicht gepasst haben. Gut, dass wir Pulver mithatten. Direkt im Nebenhaus gibt es Coffee to go, eine gute Alternative zur Not. Es war nur ein Geschirrtuch vorhanden, war definitiv zu wenig ist. Die Aussicht ist ein Traum. Für Ende April ist es gut machbar, in der Hauptsaison vermutlich doch sehr laut. Allerdings sind Doppelfenster vorhanden, so dass man in den späten Abendstunden die Fenster geschlossen halten kann. Eine Klimaanlage ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Wer Lärmempfindlich ist sollte vielleicht doch über Ohrstopsel nachdenken. Es gibt viele gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, eine Reservierung ist wie sicher bekannt zu empfehlen. Auf der linken Seite des Hauses ist ein Reisebüro, dort kann man wunderbar diverse Ausflüge buchen. Unbedingt eine Portweinverkostung mitmachen, z.B. bei Ramos oder Niepoort, fanden wir gut.
