Claw BBQ Doha — Restaurant in Doha

We call couple of time to do the reservation front office transfer the call to the restaurant but no one picked up.

When we reach to the restaurant they took 15 minute to give a non-smoking table.

We are 4 male friends we order 2 beer drought ,1 Coke , 1 wine Altozano and 1 wine glass.

The restaurant attendant bring Pinacolada glass , I politely ask for the wine glass , they refused by saying we don’t have a wine glass in a hotel .

I call another attendant ask for wine glass again she was saying that its our standard and showing me another table that we give only this glass , i request again to check for me , they take the glass and come back when my friends almost ready to repeat their order , again 15 to 20 minutes for a wine glass .

At last they give a beer goblet no wine glass.

Then we order food nachos, chicken wings and one sea food dish, after give our order i ask my friend why you ask for see food , then i ran to the lady i ask for cancel the see food order only , she literally shout on me that i not easy to cancel a order.

8 . After all this i ask one of the attendant for the ash tray he refused by saying this is non smoking area , i ask where i can smoke then, he show the smoking area which is next a corner of the restaurant.

I went to smoke with my friends , i was smoking and a security person come and saying you cant smoke here and ask me to go outside of the hotel, I inform your security person that your restaurant team is saying smoke here .

At last my friends ask for one redbull which was not provided and top of it your bar attendant come and talk rudely.

End of the story :- 1-Rude staff 2-Poor standard 3-Delay service 4-Poor management 5-No wine glass in a hotel 6-Poor guest service 7-No telecommunications curtsy 8-Zero pro uri ties for us

May be its happen because your staff judge people by clothes. Or May be we all are male. Or may be both

I am really sorry but your staff really need a training.

As a hotelier with a experience of 8 years i know how everything works in a hotel. So its better you guys take it as a opportunity to correct all the faults.

Just as a precaution to those of you planning to use the entertainer vouchers. Went there last night with a group of friends to celebrate a colleague's bday. The ambience was good although you can smell cigarette everywhere but it was fine, we enjoyed it. A guy came to take our orders and we upfront told him that we wiil be using entertainer and clarified that the max is 4 vouchers. We asked which are in the promotion. Appetizers and the buckets were not included. So we made our orders. When a waitress came and confirmed our orders (apparently the guy was not in the know it all and was just helping out because our waitress was busy before), she made further clarifications w/ the order. Appetizers, buckets and the tower is not included in the entertainer so we had to revise our orders again. We asked and confirmed that the 8 pan lobsters will be the one in the entertainer. 4 to be paid, 4 for free. We wanted to maximize the vouchers. The food and service was relatively good. When it was paying time, surprise surprise the celebrant was told that only 1 lobster was free and the 2 nachos (appetizer), deluxe steamer (bucket) was included in the entertainer and that we can only use 3 vouchers. Our waitress was off shift already. Manager did not see fit to explain to us what just happened. It was made clear that appetizers and buckets we're not included in the entertainer...or so they said at first. Just because we ordered one of the highest main courses doesn't mean you can change the rules on paying time. It was very very clear that the buckets and appetizers were not part of the entertainer and that the pan lobster is the main menu. It was very disappointing for first timers like us. We could pay full without using vouchers mind you, but we have it so why not use it. For the management at claw bbq, you added your establishment on the said app..be honest enough on what is offered and...
