Hands down one of my favourite restaurants in Doha. I always take my friends and family here when they visit Qatar and like myself they love the food! I highly recommend from the salads the "Halateen" the flavours of the feta cheese combined with the apple and pineapple is so delicious! From the appetisers I recommend you to try my top two favourites "Shaghameem & Samboussa Habra" I can't get enough of these two! The Kazoua Hummus is also delicious with the flavours of the meat and dakos sauce. For the main if you love tender lamb that falls of the bone then go for "Saffron Yogurt Majkouzi" absolutely the best I've tried, the flavours take you to another world. The portion of this main is definitely sufficient for two people, sometimes I can share it with three of my friends. I aim to try everything from the menu someday as the food is really flavoursome. The restaurant is lovely, super clean. I love the private rooms and the staff are always so kind and attentive. Forever coming back to this amazing restaurant. Middle eastern fusion. I loved the idea of the restaurant and menu but the theme is not clear although good enough. menu is filled with choices and dishes with a smart unique twist. The appetizers were all delicious including the Sweet and Sour Liver. The brisket machbous was such a satisfying dish as well ( did not take a photo because i was to distracted eating ) Food was served at a reasonable pace. The appetizers also did not come all at one but had an avg of 5 mins in between them. Staff are very polite and welcoming and also well trained to be professional and clean when serving your food. Definitely will be a recommended restaurant for anyone visiting Qatar.

The ambience! Wow! High ceilings, posh designed walls, grand Arab culture in every detail, amazing quick service, courteous staff and an amazing feel of Arabic hospitality. My last trip I had a vegetarian meal (yep you read it right) and I was skeptical because meat dishes were dominating the menu, however the dish served was custom made and it was delicious! It was white rice cooked to perfection with a curry that contained potatoes, carrots, brinjal on a base tomato curry. Lovely! The beef and chicken dishes and rice was absolutely yummy (feedback from my table mates). The salads, starters and desserts were more fun looking and presentable than the main course.

This was my first visit to SMAT. Everything was just superb. The restaurant was spacious and clean. The service was efficient and attentive. Coming to the food, it offers gulf cuisine with a twist. Every dish we tried was well-executed and using very fresh ingredients. From the kids menu, we ordered the "nuggets" which were actually freshly-made chicken strips that tasted great. I highly recommend the madroobah and butter chicken. All the rice dishes were fragrant and the rice was cooked perfectly. They have a great outdoor playground and valet service. I took a star off because I think the prices were too expensive for the portion sizes.

Good point : Great view Clean Nice and caring stuff Nice decoration Soup (Al raha) was sooo delicious Meat was well cooked and smelled good Dislikes: As a seafood lover and seafood taster : Morabian (prawn majbos) was sooo salty that I couldn't eat but as respecting our host I didn't say anything just didn't eat it and tried other foods Fish (in some leaves) was smells bad even just tried small pieces So I don't recommend for seafood But soup salad and meat was really nice

Incredible restaurant, impeccable service and delicious food. I wish I could eat more but the portions are large, great to share with others. Had a great time dining there watching the world cup on large screen TVs and drinking delicious mint lemonade. Its located on the 2nd level of a beautiful hotel, as soon as you walk in take the elevator or stairs on your right hand side to go upstairs.
