We had the pleasure of visiting Opus for Iftar, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance exuded elegance, coziness, and warmth, making it a perfect setting for a Ramadan gathering. The thoughtfully adorned Ramadan decorations in the lobby and passage beautifully captured the spirit of the holy month, enhancing the overall experience.

The service was impeccable, starting with Ms. Jovana, who advised us on our reservation with great professionalism—she was prompt, clear, and accommodating with all our queries. At the restaurant, Ms. Papia's attentiveness, politeness, and courtesy made the evening even more special, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our time. The dining staff who served us were very attentive and courteous.

Coming to the food, it was an absolute feast! The Iftar spread included a delectable variety of salads, grills, traditional Arabic dishes, Asian specialties, and delightful appetizers. The selection of Arabic beverages—Jallab, Tamar Hindi, and Karkade— added an authentic touch to the experience. While everything was delicious, the Warm Toffee Dates Pudding was simply out of this world—an absolute must-try! The food was beautifully presented, and each dish showcased an excellent balance of flavors and textures. One of the standout features of Opus was its dedicated dessert section, set apart in a different part of the restaurant—and rightly so! This beautifully arranged space was a paradise for dessert lovers, offering an incredible variety of treats. From a decadent chocolate fountain to an exquisite selection of Arabic sweets, cakes, and pastries, everything was just delightful.

The Iftar buffet was well-organized, offering a seamless transition from breaking the fast to indulging in the main course. The combination of great food, a wide selection, and live music truly set the mood, making it a memorable and worthwhile experience.

Would I recommend Opus for Iftar or any other dining experience? Absolutely! It is family friendly, offers great value for money, an exquisite spread, and outstanding service. I would definitely return-not just for the delicious food but also for the exceptional Warm Toffee Dates Pudding and the warm hospitality.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary and started the day with breakfast at Opus.

We loved everything about this place.

We came to the hotel by metro (mshereib station) which is literally just across the road from the hotel and deserves all locations of Doha directly.

All staff greeted us so warmly with big smiles on their faces, from the doorman, to the very helpful reception team, all the way to the personnel who sat and served us at Opus.

One particular feature of the restaurant we particularly enjoyed is, that Chef Fabio conducts the cooks preparing omelettes, pancakes and other delicious dishes, right in front of the food area. So you can enjoy the process as you help yourself from the buffet. That was a unique touch.

It was perfect for breakfast, with energy smoothies, freshly cut and uncut fresh fruits and other breakfast aplenty for all palates.

The viennoiseries are out of this world! 🥐 I love my croissants as a Frenchman and Opus’ were dangerously yummy! 😅😋

On the way out, we found Chef Fabio’s team was preparing so tempting pancakes with fresh fruits… definitely a must have next time we visit Opus.

Park Hyatt is located in the heart of beautiful Msheireb. After our breakfast, we took a long stroll in the neighborhood to burn out some calories 😅, in a weather perfect for a walk.
