Msheireb Mosque — Attraction in Doha

House of Allah - the masjid is truly a source of peace and remembrance alhamdulillah. Women section not easy to find so: enter the gate where it says women prayer hall. Enter the masjid and find “ stairs/elevator” on the left side from where you enter. Go to the first floor (second floor is imaam) and open the middle door to the women section. Very nice mosque. Beautiful interior and a reasonable amount of space inside. Some helpful information though: (1) THERE IS NO JUMMAH/FRIDAY PRAYER in this mosque so try one of the other nearby mosques like Al Wadi Mosque, and (2) the entrance for the males is next to the "females section" sign (on the main road side of the mosque). Its a bit confusing, but the women's entrance is the door like thing to the right of the sign and the male entrance is a open space/area to the left...

One of the most beautiful mosque's I have visited in Doha, Qatar. The simplicity in the design defines the purity of the place. Its very peaceful while praying in the masjid. It has a courtyard with seem-less water fountain and a tree collection on the side with external fountain right near the entrance.
