REBERU Contemporary Cuisine — Restaurant in Doha

Nothing I can say will perfectly describe how I feel about this restaurant. It baffles me how it always never seems to be full. The atmosphere of the place is extremely captivating. You feel comfortable, yet amazed. The service is few of the best I have ever seen not only in Doha, but outside of Qatar. The wonderful people in this restaurant are so welcoming and friendly, feel so easy to talk to, and know exactly how to assist you and provide you with the best experience. Last but not least, the food. I have been to this fabulous restaurant multiple times, the food has always been the same, and even improved for the better. Their Sushi, in my opinion, top 3 in the entirety of Qatar. Their steak, top 2 in the entirety of Qatar, easily. Their best steak, even though I have not tried the others yet, is the 400-days grain fed Wagyu Tenderloin. Incredibly tasty, cooked to prefection by their skilled chef, it is simply impeccable. Even though I have only tried their Sushi and Wagyu, the main platters all look so appetizing. I will definitely try some of them in my next visits. Last thing to mention, manager came to our table to ask about everything and was very kind and welcoming. Our experience at Reberu was extremely disappointing and frustrating. We were a group of three and asked our waiter if we could use two Entertainer coupons. She confirmed that it was fine, so we ordered four dishes based on that. However, after we had finished our meal, the manager suddenly came over and told us that only one coupon could be used for three people.

When we pointed out what the waiter told us, she completely backtracked and pretended she never said that — clearly pressured by the manager. What made it worse was the manager’s attitude. Instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the situation, he tried to guilt trip us by saying he could lose his job if he allowed us to use both coupons. It felt manipulative and insincere — he didn’t show any real concern or accountability for the poor communication.

Overall, the experience felt dishonest and unprofessional. We left feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. Reberu may look high-end, but the service and integrity were far from it. Definitely not...

This time we had the worse experience ever, when I arrived the table was assigned for us very small and its not enough for the vip guest I invited, I explained and request to change it, the supervisor give hard time to get another table even that we booked for 3person. I saw the table empty and asked her to be seated she claim it's booked. I politely asked her to be seated till the guests comes we will wait till the 15min as per the rules in the booking text, if they didn't come will proceed with the food ordering, she refuse with no reason, in fact she was yelling and say very rudely that no food will be served to us!!!!! At end she claim that she sorted out, we didn't see any one came for the table. I asked for the manager she said he is sleeping now!!!
