Restaurant La Vitrine — Restaurant in Bucharest

Amazing place! I totally recommend it. It should be illegal to have such a great restaurant so far away from Bucharest's most populated areas.

Firstly, the employees really cared. They paid a lot of attention to us, they were caring, they were always taking care of our table, no matter how many other tables were busy in the restaurant. And all of this with a note of elegance and respect.

Secondly, the food was amazingly good. Absolutely delicious, while the portions were neither too little, not too big.

Thirdly, the location has a really cozy and intimate interior design. You feel it was done with care and love, and all the decorations have a meaning and they complete the entire image of the restaurant. Which also complements nicely the rest of the location (the terrace, the hotel, the architecture).

I will start with the ok part, the service was decent for a 4 star Hotel/Restaurant. The food on the other hand was worst than most of the cantines. The tuna salad looked like it was put together using the leftovers from the breakfast and the tuna was well done despite the waiter asking us how we wanted the fish done and we specifically said medium. Also it contained canned beans, canned corn, (See pictures) The 4 cheese pasta contained more cooking cream than cheese. The mint limonade was literally Hellas with water and a slice of lemon and some mint, horrible. There were more customers at the tables nearby and the experience was kind of the same, leaving food on the plate at the end...

Sunday, starting at 14.30, we (6 persons) celebrated the birthday of a friend at La Vitrine Restaurant & Lounge complex Caro. At the same time, near our table, and held a baptism party. Fortunately our meeting was not disturbed by music or participants baptism. Overall and very important details, I spent almost 4 hours in a pleasant way. OK ambience, service and Ana Maria recommendations, well presented and tasty dishes ordered. Unfortunately, some of the menu items were not available ... The result of the experience of this afternoon is that we all have proposed to return at the earliest...
