Stayed just for some drinks on the spacious terrace, next to the Mid Ages wall - nice location. The menu and orders are available via a website page (app not necessary) - I really don't appreciate this kind of interaction, but it's getting spin, people think it's hype - it isn't. The waiters sitting idle on a table, and clients ordering online... well... Ordered a bottle of sparkling wine, the order came promply: a bottle of wine - not spakling. The order on the app was plain, clear, even with a picture. However, the waiter looked confused. Finally, we got the sparkling. We asked for some tapas - got excuses "kitchen out of order". Tried to order another bottle. After a while, we got appologies: No other bottle left. Well... it's just Friday early evening, well prepared :j Checked out - the bill was for 2 bottles of wine - ofc, including the last order - the bill being brought by the same waiter who told us they don't have another bottle left :))) I want to be clear: staff is very friendly, but very clumsy, too, unprofessional at execellence - while staying there I noticed almost every table had issues with wrong orders. The busibess looked like a total mess, run by absolutely newbies. Hard to get annoyed, tough... they kept excusing and smiling. Surely we'll not avoid this place in the future, giving'em another chance. We'll see if it was an...
Read morePretty nice brunch place and off the beaten path. They have a wide selection of items, with some interesting options as well (like ostrich or quail egg omelette).
We were a few friends that had the meal together, we made one big order and it came pretty fast. We were not the only ones there and people kept coming, so the wait time was pretty darn good.
Of the items, we liked the Cheese Omelette and Grilled Cheese Sandwich, the bread was great. The Pulled Pork and Veal were delicious, but unfortunately the bun was stale and probably bought at a wholesale place, it completely broke apart once you ate it.
The coffee is decent, the Pumpkin Spice Latte was nice, though a bit sweet. The Cherry Mimosa was refreshing and balanced. The Hot Chocolate was delicious and not too sweet, perfect for the autumn weather.
The Brownie was actually amazing, surprised how good it was. The homemade chocolate was good, but a bit too wet for one.
The price though is a bit steep considering the ingredients used. And some items are way too overpriced (like the Halloumi Salad). As such, I need to take down points due to this.
The waiter was friendly and efficient, brought us some blankets too as it got...
Read moreI heard about this place for a long time and people told me about it with mixed reviews. So I decided to give it a try. The place is indeed lovely and welcoming, now at this point I'm going to start with the negatives: Ordered a Full English breakfast which looked appealing in the picture but what was on the plate...was bits of an english breakfast on a piece of ciabatta bread...my friend had a guacamole poached eggs..which was crushed avocado spread on a piece of ciabatta (now I'm no chef but I think guacamole has more ingredients and seasoning) and poached eggs...no seasoning...the salad next to it was non existent...and all of it was just bland...especially considering the price. The whole ordering using the app was new to me and I quickly got around to use it, it might not appeal to a lot of people the idea of installing the app, create an account, order and use to pay for the order and so on. The staff was nice an helpful, other wise it would have been a 2 star review. I can't say that I would go there again to eat, maybe grab a...
