I am thrilled to share my experiences at Jar's Steakhouse, which has become one of our favorite places to dine. Each visit wraps us in a warm atmosphere complemented by top-notch service. The staff here is exceptionally attentive and accommodating, making each meal a special occasion.

The cuisine at Jar's is consistently outstanding. Every dish has been delightful, with a minor hiccup with the spare ribs—but that can happen. The daily buffet or set menu, including drinks, is not only incredibly affordable but also of superior quality and freshness—a true gem in Sibiu!

However, there is a downside that increasingly prevents us from frequenting this establishment as often as we'd like. Recently, a certain crowd has begun to frequent the restaurant, diminishing the otherwise pleasant ambiance. The behavior of some guests, who seem to be there more to be seen than to enjoy the food, is inappropriate and significantly detracts from our enjoyment.

I had the most amazing time eating at Jar's recently; it far surpassed my expectations. The warm atmosphere created just the right mood for the evening as soon as I walked in. The steak was juicy, tender, and flavorful to the extreme when it was cooked to perfection. Every mouthful was delightful, demonstrating both the superior quality of the meat and the chef's skill. The spritz cocktails were equally amazing, providing a novel and refreshing touch that went well with the dinner. The personnel was genuinely pleasant, well-informed, and provided flawless service. They ensured that every detail of our dining experience was perfect and gave wonderful recommendations. Stayed 2 nights at the hotel and had steaks at this restaurant 2 nights in a row. Tried the house aged 30 days beef imported from Italy. Medium rare ribeye was very good while the New York steak (also medium rare) had too much sinew and too chewy - not recommended. I think the NY steak cut was not well cut. Our table also tried the tomahawk which was also very good both nights. Overall a nice break from Romanian food and nice to find a very good steak house in Sibiu.

Very good management. My friends had the same NY steak and couldn’t stomach it as it had too much sinews so they didn’t have to pay and had a complimentary dinner (ribeye) on the 2nd night. Loved the response.
