I came here hungry and I’m glad I did! Arina was my server and she was helpful and kind. She helped me decide on which traditional Romanian dishes to try and was attentive to all of her tables. The menu lists the allergens next to each item, making it very easy to decide on what to order. I am allergic/sensitive to gluten and I chose this restaurant knowing I’d be able to quickly find gluten free options thanks to how they do their menu. I got the Sarmale (cabbage rolls with minced meat and sour cream), Bulz (oven baked polenta with matured cheese, smoked sausages, and sour cream), and finished it all off with their crème caramel dessert which was the only gluten free dessert on the menu. Their lemonades and fresh fruit juices all looked amazing and I went with the elderflower lemonade. Everything I had was delicious, and the portion sizes are a good size. Had I been at my normal level of hunger, one dish probably would have been plenty. The Bulz portion was much bigger than I anticipated and I was unable to finish it all. Had heard great things about this resteraunt so wanted to check it out while in Brasov. It's in a lovely location just off the town square and a nice place to sit outside on a nice warm day. For starters we had aubergine dip and some other bits that were all great but we came here for the mains and more importantly for the pork knuckle. So we shared that and the pork and Polenta stew and both dishes were great. The pork knuckle was cooked to perfection and fell off the bone with so much flavour. It came with cabbage which was cooked with lots of flavour and was a great dish even if we may of struggled to finish it all due to the sheer size. The pork mix was also great the meat crumbled in your mouth and was full of flavour with Polenta on the side and the great garlic dip to go alongside. Be aware it comes with a fresh chilli that has a real kick which for any chilli lovers they will really enjoy.
