La Plancha — Restaurant in Dakar

I don't like leaving bad reviews, because I know how hard it is to run a restaurant, but this was my absolute worse experience in Dk. They have a decent amount of choices and I'm telling everything tasted or looked awful. I tasted most of what they offered and the only bit I enjoyed was a room temperature mini square of pizza. The reason I tasted so much food was because I couldn't believe how throughly bad the food was. I payed for it though, I threw up everything on the way to the car. Now I gave 2 stars because as much as I hated everything about the place, people seem to be having a good time and enjoying the food. Not my usual crowd of people for sure, but hey to each his own. Absolutely horrid! Worst restaurant I have been to in Dakar! If you are going to go for the aesthetics then that's the only thing I would say go for. The customer service is appalling, the staff are so stern, rude and talking amongst themselves whilst you wait for them to acknowledge you. Tje buffet is COLD! lord knows what the burners actually do, maybe they are for decoration. The buffet has no labelling, so you don't actually know which dish is what. Which i find incredibly weird as they are not far from major tourist attractions in dakar, so why the assumption that you wouldn't get tourist in who don't know which dish is which. J'ai fêté mon anniversaire à La Plancha et je tiens à leur exprimer ma grande satisfaction à l'égard de mon expérience dans leur établissement car je suis enchantée par la qualité et la diversité des plats qu'ils proposent.
