Garden Food — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

I love Belgrade, but a massive amount of people smoke. I am allergic to tobacco smoke and promptly 4 people starting smoking in this restaurant. There is no air circulation so all you could inhale was smoke. Waitress was absolutely sour. Everyone I have met in Serbia has been incredibly nice. She was terrible. Charged me an extra fee when I asked to takeout, but did not tell me about it. This was over 15% of our bill. I felt completely ripped off as I was getting a migraine from all the smoke. I understand this is part of the culture, but terrible service is terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone who does not want to be confined in a small space with a bitter server. I went to this place, i first ordered a risotto and paid immediately with card, when i saw the risotto, i ordered torilla salad because i was hungry. I went inside to pay for the tortilla salad. The waitress started to charge for the risotto again, i told her i have already paid for the risotto when i order, she couldn’t understand, i even showed her the bank message like i paid for the risotto 20 mins. She still was dumb enough not to understand. Finally when i paid for only the salad and go, she started to pull my arm which made me furious asking to pay for the risotto. Drugarica mi je preporučila mesto sa dobrim salatama. Ja sam totalno permutovala ime i slučajno se našla u restoranu Garden food. Na žalost nije ispunilo moja očekivanja.

Mesto se zove Garden, pretpostavila sam da ce biti svetlo i puno biljaka. Više liči na kafanicu kojoj bi prijalo dobro renoviranje. Takođe bih očekivala mesto sa laganom muzikom umesto Milice Todorović (Mada ja nemam problem sa njenom pesmama).

Ja sam po prirodi neodlučna osoba i jako volim konobare koji mi daju svoju preporuku. Većina je probala sva jela i znaju da iskažu svoje mišljenje. Pitala sam konobaricu za savet i ona je rekla da je sve stvar ukusa. Ne baš previše ljubazno.

Odlučila sam se za losos salatu. Iako ne piše (moja greška što nisam čitala) mislila sam da će losos biti dimljen. Zbog toga je bio dosta bezokusan. Kruška je celoj salati dala slatkocu i interesantnu notu.

Pastu bih bolje sama napravila. Testo je kupovno a piletina je bila unapred spremljena, samo podgrejana i ponegde izgorela. Verovatno da nismo došli mrtvi gladni pola ne bi pojeli.

Možda smo mi samo došli pred zatvaranje kada nisu očekivali mnogo gostiju. (Ipak smo bili sami u celom objektu). Možda su generalno bolji. Sve u svemu, ne bih se...
