Restoran Caruso — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

Nice views and good service. I was with my family, 4 of us. Unfortunately, food is not safe to eat. I got quite bad food poisoning from Caruso Chicken. My husband and brother also had issues with stomach cramps and nausea. We all had chicken dishes which was probably contaminated. We have called a day in advance and asked specifically if there was a table for two right next to the balcony fence so we can enjoy a view. They told us yes and we told them it is really important because it’s a birthday dinner. When we came this night, we were really disappointed because they told us they don’t have a table for us next to the fence and put us at some small table in the corner. If it was any other night we would be fine, but we specifically told them it is a birthday dinner and we want it to be special. Now we know not to come back. Beautiful views!!!! I love rooftops! And this place has beautiful views. You can kind of see two sides of the city. The Danube side and the Sava river side. The food was ok, dessert was big. If you are not crazy for sugar, I suggest you share one dessert. The portions are quite substantial. Service was also ok.

They could wipe down the tables before seating their guests. Cleanliness is important. The furniture needs a some attention as well, some of it looks quite worn out.
