10/10 everything was delicious! Great food, great host, lovely environment. We were so nicely welcomed. From the start, host was very kind, friendly and open for talking and giving suggestions. We made orders upon his recommendations for dishes and portion sizes and we were amazed! The food was incredible, so fine and heartwarming! Every dish has its story for the way ingredients were gathered. The patty was THE BEST patty I’ve ever tasted, also hot bread with sesame seeds made everything taste even better. Surely we will come again very soon to try everything else they have to offer. Prices are fair for the quality of the food (might say affordable compared to the food tastes and quality).

This is such a gem! We didn't speak the language so didn't know what to expect. But turned out we didn't even need a menu! Milan took care of us like we were family, and made sure our table was overflowing with delicious food and wine. If we could give six stars, we would!! The food was amazing and the hospitality was world class! The highlight on our trip through Serbia. Looking forward to visiting you again, Milan!!

Ресторан сербской национальной кухни "Stari Mlin" в Белграде способен впечатлить даже опытного гурмана. Плескавица, заботливо предложенная мне Миланом вместе с луком и листьями салата, была такой нежной и просто таяла во рту! Это - самая вкусная плескавица, которую я когда либо пробовала! Любезный Миланче также рекомендовал мне гибаницу. Признаюсь, я пробовала ее в первый раз в жизни и осталась в великом восторге. Ну, и конечно, шливовица (как аперитив) явилась прекрасным дополнением к вышеуказанному превосходному дуэту. Миланче сказал, что предпочитает угощать гостей по-домашнему, дабы они чувствовали себя комфортно и хотели вернуться. Живая истина! Я тоже хочу возвратиться и вновь насладиться фантастически вкусной едой, хозяйской теплотой и особенной атмосферой уютной загородной дачи на лоне природы. Заведение находится в пешей доступности от железнодорожного вокзала "Белград Центр". Кстати, это был прощальный ужин в мою первую поездку в Белград. И я рада, что он удался! Надеюсь , мой обожаемый "Stari Mlin" дождется меня, когда я приду туда опять в свой следующий приезд. С благодарностью, Милена из Подгорицы (Черногория).

Restoran za ponos u koji se uvek rado vraćam. Teško je reći čime čovek bude zadovoljniji. Usudio bih se reći da je kafana Stari Mlin pravi mali raj na zemlji gde je sve prosto savršeno, od hrane do prelepog ambijenta uz vrhunsku uslugu dobrog domaćina koji svakom gostu pristupa maksimalno profesionalno. Mogu slobodno reći da sam se u kafani Stari Mlin pronašao i prepoznao je kao svoje mesto za redovnu dozu hedonizma. U njoj vreme staje i preporučio bih je svakome ko iskreno voli da uživa u kvalitetnoj hrani u prijatnom ambijentu uz uvek nasmejanog domaćina koji je uvek rad da pruži savet oko odabira jela i količine i za koga može slobodno da se kaže da je pravi gospodin i ugostitelj kakav se u današnje vreme retko sreće. O savršenom kvalitetu namirnica i izboru najboljih vrsti i sorti pića sa prostora Srbije mogao bi da se napiše čitav jedan novi tekst.

Domaćinu želim puno sreće i uspeha u daljem radu a svim ljudima koji se dvoume, slobodno mogu da preporučim da više ne moraju da se premišljaju i da se bez dvoumljenja upute ka ovoj kafani iz koje se sigurno vraćaju sa najlepšim uspomenama i punog stomaka uz koji kilogram više!
