Let me paint the dinner scene: you're drawn in by the promise of traditional elegance and refined cuisine. What you actually get is a culinary plot twist straight out of a Balkan TV shows.
To be fair, the food was tasty. But unless the chef is importing unicorn truffle dust from a secret mountain in Montenegro, the prices are completely unjustifiable.
I’ve had more satisfying meals at roadside grills—for a fraction of the cost and with far less drama.
Now for the evening’s highlight: Viktor, our waiter, who operated like a man running his own restaurant. He served the food like he’d grown the ingredients himself, cooked them over sacred fire, and was doing us a favor just by showing up. I almost expected him to hand me a comment card titled "How much did you enjoy Viktor’s presence tonight?"

There were many modern menu options, but the traditional choices were excellent. The regional cheeses were exceptional. We sat outside on a lovely day and we were taken care of by a very attentive, yet not intrusive, wait staff. Our food was prepared exactly as ordered and served in a very timely manner. I cannot recommend a better place to have a fairly priced upscale dinner so close to the river. Please try a little of everything and definitely ask the wait staff for...

I noticed that other women were also wearing slippers, yet they were not asked to change. As a tourist, this made me feel that the place is unfriendly to foreigners, if not outright discriminatory. Their dress code seems hypocritical — expecting women to show up half-dressed, yet policing footwear selectively. After changing my shoes, I was finally allowed in. The wine was terrible and overpriced. Overall, this is a pretentious “wannabe fancy” place that in reality feels cheap...
