Disappointing Experience at Tri Šešira - Avoid This over rated Restaurant

Tonight, my husband and I dined at Tri Šešira, a restaurant recommended by our tour guide, located on a charming cobblestone street in Belgrade's Bohemian quarter. I should have heeded the mixed reviews, which mostly warned of poor service and attitude.

Upon arrival, we waited about 10 minutes before a waiter, Dejan,.P acknowledged us. When he finally approached, he threw the menus on the table without making any eye contact. After another 10-minute wait, we finally ordered wine , and the deep-sea perch, which was supposed to come with potatoes and vegetables. When the food arrived, there were no vegetables, the potatoes were cold, and the perch was tough as leather. I guess that’s a lesson learned about ordering a deep sea fish in a land locked country!!

When I commented on my food being cold and inedible, Dejan P arrogantly replied that he wasn’t responsible for the kitchen. I responded, "You are the front man and need to report back to the kitchen." He offered no apologies or another meal, just hovered over the credit card machine to take our payment, ready for the next customer.

My advice: avoid Tri Šešira. The food was subpar, the service was abysmal, and the local band playing did nothing to salvage the experience. Save your time and money, and find a less commercial more reputable spot to dine in beautiful Belgrade.
