Toster Bar — Restaurant in City of Novi Sad

I'm really shocked. This was the worst burger I've had in Serbia. I come from Texas and we have really great Burgers there, and I just can't believe these have such great reviews. First I can't believe the patty is 100% beef. The patty would bounce if I threw it on the ground because its so rubbery. Also they padded it out with lots of salt inside before they cook them. Salt ruins the texture on ground meet before cooking it. It should be lightly sprinkled on the outside before cooking, not mushed into the patty. These taste like Pork is in them. Then they put around 12 pickles on it, and every sauce until the whole thing was dripping and soggy and you bite it and everything wants to squirt out the other side. It was so slimy and soggy I couldn't believe it. Even their French Fries have a table spoon of salt on them. Oh and one last thing the location is totally wrong on Google Maps. You will never find it...

First of all, this is by far the best burgers in NS. But also the most expensive. As for deliveries, there is always a long wait, often an hour and 20 minutes or an hour and a half or even an hour and 40 minutes, I simply cannot believe that nothing has been done about this issue in the five years that I have been ordering deliveries from here. As far as this restaurant in Njegoseva is concerned, the ambiance is mildly awful. Everything smells like a cheap hair salon, the furniture is uncomfortable and unsightly, the chairs are worse than in the school canteen and the tables are too small for two people to be able to behave normally. Who did that interrior should...

The food is good here. They have a variety of options and burgers are tasty, as well as fries, and onion rings. Big portions as well. That being said, I tried a lot of good burgers in Belgrade and in the USA, so when I compare, I can’t give it five stars. Also, most times I’ve eaten here the meat was well done, and I prefer medium, so of you’re the same way, let them know. The staff is pleasant and attentive. Sometimes, the wait time is a bit long then expected for a burger place. On a plus side, they have weekly special burger, with interesting flavors, so ask for it and try it if it sounds...
