Read morePardon the ugly photo (mainly because i was VERY VERY hungry) but to be very honest even though a good review comes with a free drink, the food was really great.
Mee sua tasted like those from shilin (but oyster tasted abit funny or maybe I don’t know how to appreciate so please take this with a pinch of salt) .
For the milk tea dessert, will honestly come back for a cup of milk tea here since the pearls are really chewy and tasty (not bland since it’s with the right sweetness, and milk tea wasn’t too milky, too sweet nor too tea-y, just the right flavour balance for a TW milk tea)
Braised pork rice, I will say just meh. Not much to review since I only had one mouth but that one scoop didn’t shout “NICE, EAT ONE MORE MOUTH”
Fried rice was also meh (I mean I dk how good a fried rice be, can recommend me one if you found one good fried rice) but the fried chicken and fried pork was really crispy and you can actually taste the meat so it’s not just full of flour (but of course the plum powder made it even better)
Overall, good experience and would come here especially for the boba milk tea but note that the portion might be a little too small...
Read moreThe ratings here may be skewed? as you get a free 500ml drink from reviewing on google (listed in the 1st page of the menu), unless the store gives a drink for any star rating?
First time visiting the brand.
Order through a reusable order sheet given at the cashier, and thereafter you order with cashier.
Brown sugar boba milk tea (reg) - not too sweet, but the brown sugar for the boba tasted light.
XO egg fried rice - Cannot taste the xo sauce at all. It's definitely not worth the price
Sour plum sweet potato fries - light sour plum powder taste
Crispy chicken cube - nice to try
Shredded chicken mee sua - plain & average (vs another brand, exclude adding any vinegar)
The 2-person single table seating (opposite each other) was not that appropriately comfy, especially if you have extra bags and can only place them on the floor. The sofa was better, but unavailable at the time we dined in.
Staff cleaned the table promptly after customers left.
For the total damages here, you can have a better tasting meal elsewhere...
