Walked by and saw that the restaurant was was Japanese/thai (some Lao food as well). As a Laotian myself along with my family, we decided to try the food here and well, it was a wreck. Con’s: -Insanely long wait for the Thai food (1 hour and 10 mins. Yes, I tracked it.) note that we were the only people there. Thai food absolutely lacked flavor besides the spicy catfish, we didn’t expect very good Thai food regarding our location but this was astonishing how off the flavors are to actual Thai food. I’ve seen 16 year olds cook better Thai than this. waiters were kinda rude and uninterested when we asked about what’s good prices are definitely tourist priced, a small can of soda that barely filled my glass was 3,90 euro.
Pros: The establishment itself is well kept and clean, has a very modern touch to it. From what the rest of my family who didn’t order Thai said, the sushi / ramen here was pretty good, nothing special but good enough.
TLDR: don’t order the Thai food here, expect long...
Read moreI expected more from this restaurant. Starting with the pro side, I have to mention that the place has a nice interior, plenty of dishes to choose from, affordable prices and many tables. Lets talk about the negatives then. The ramen was bang average and surprisingly the restaurant does not have ramen spoon. We got a tiny ceramic spoon that is totally unsuitable for a dish like this. Please also consider that it's not mentioned on the menu that the ramen is spicy. The waiter kindly informed us about this before writing up the order, but he could not answer how spicy it is. What can I say...its NOT light. Only choose ramen if you like 🔥🔥🔥 soups. The second soup we ordered was a chicken soup with glass noodles where mushrooms were missed to be mentioned. Fortunately the soup had no mushroom taste. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend this restaurant, there are many better options...
Read moreWhen all is well, it is easy for a waiter to be friendly. However, my homemade lemonade probably lacked sugar and syrup. When I mentioned to the waiter that the lemonade tasted very uninteresting for that high price, he looked at me and walked off. An hour later I returned to address the issue again as I felt unsettled. The middle aged waiter who likes to speak some phrases in various languages and the younger waitress listened to me, but didn't offer any compensation or apology. They probably were not open to the idea that they made a mistake with the preparation of the drink. I find this very sad. I felt like I needed to educate them about customer service! I also find it strange that in addition to duck, etc, one needs to separately order rice or noodles. Why not include it in the price? I should have rather gone several times...
