La Donuteria Eurovea — Restaurant in Bratislava

La Donuteria used to be my favourite place for donuts when I lived in Bratislava few years ago - huge flavour selection, delicious, very sweet and very big. Overall a bit pricey but kind of "worth it" for what you get for the price. I moved away now but every time I pass by Bratislava I go for a donut because of nostalgia at this point. This year I tried a couple of my favourites (Boston cream and lotus cookie) and I wasn't sure if I was imagining it... Their donuts got smaller. :( I'm glad I got them when they were on sale for 2€ before eurovea closing time, because otherwise I'd be upset to pay ~4€ for each 😅 I can see that it's true because photo reviews from 2 years ago show them bigger, so it's not my imagination 😭 they used to be full round donuts and the filled ones actually had a lot of filling. Now they are all ring donuts with a hole in the middle and a bit of filling. The flavour was still good (although I understand that for some people it's "too sweet" - I like it personally) but it was dry and sad :( my tradition of getting la Donuteria might be ending this year because of that. It may be fine for the discount price but...

Chodíme často okolo tejto prevádzky a všimli sme si, že večer mávajú predaj donutov, ktoré zostali za 1 euro, tak reku, že sa zastavíme. Kúpili sme si 3 - Chocolate Glazed, Lesné ovocie a Škorica Nutella. Keď nám to teta naložila do krabice za ktorú si vypýtala 60 centov tak som bola len taká, že wtf? Ale však ok. Prišli sme domov, že ich ideme zjesť a ja vám teda neviem. Všetky recenzie tu sú, že "cena je za kvalitu", no poviem úprimne, zaplatiť za každý z tých donutov 3,60 tak som fakt nahnevaná. Najväčší fail škorica, nutella. A.ka suché cesto a kávová lyžička Nutelly. Ak očakávate, že donut za 3,60 bude plnený, tak vás sklamem. Je to čistý donut kde je hore natreté také množstvo nutelly, že keď si kúpite nugátovú šišku z Lidla (za 0,49e) bude v nej viac plnky. A tá škorica.. Nezabudli ste nám ju dať do krabice? Lebo fakt neviem, kde bola. :) Chocolate Glazed a lesné ovocie boli fajn ale za 3,60 by som si ich znova nekúpila.

Tldr: Ak chcete ochutnať, počkajte na akciu sa 1 euro inak to podľa mňa...
