MONDIEU — Restaurant in Bratislava

Unfortunately the worst experience I had in Bratislava. Not so much from the food but from the staff..

We went here for breakfast, among other things we all ordered Eggs Benedict. From 8 eggs, 5 were ok, 3 were undercooked and runny as hell.

Called the waitress to tell her that I cannot eat those eggs and she can take them back. She gave me a look, didn't say anything, didn't ask me if there was anything to do to solve it, just took it and went away...

For me this was a very disappointing experience and I would find it normal to get an excuse at least.

Anyway among other things, the rest of the order was ok.

We go there since they opened at least 1-2 times a month. They changed several generations of waitors and almost none of them understand when I ask to get me avocado toast and THEN sweet pancakes. They either bring all together or pancakes first. Or sometimes they forget about pancakes at all. I tried several techniques of ordering (asking only avo toast and later pancakes; asking avo toast and pancakes emphasizing I want pancakes to come later; I tried ordering in Slovak, in English) but nothing helps. Please explain the staff that sometimes a person eats 2 dishes one after another in a specific order (savory first, sweet...

I have two troubles with this restaurant:

1. it’s Sunday and 12:15 o’clock, and I was refused the breakfast, although menu says that’s it’s available until 12:30. Fine, then I order something else.
2. The wait time is unbelievable. I’ve been here for 45 minutes, and still didn’t get my food. For a tourists with limited time, that can be a deal breaker. The waitress could tell that the wait time is long, and we could’ve decided to go to other restaurant to eat.

I’m giving 1 star for food, cause 45 minutes waiting, I still didn’t taste any food, hence 1 star.

I highly don’t recommend...
