The food was salty and some of the menu items were not available. The biggest issue though was the billing.

We paid by card and the waitress charged our card - the green check mark of the transaction being completed was seen by us. Yet the waitress claimed that there was an issue with the machine and she would need to run the card again - which we allowed her to do. We once again witnessed the green check mark.

She then stated that the charge didn't go through and we would need to pay cash. We logged in to our credit card account to see if the transaction had indeed not gone through - our statement clearly showed two pending charges from the restaurant and we showed it to the waitress. She said here manager spoke to the bank (on Saturday before Easter - a public holiday here) and that the transaction didn't go through and we would have to pay cash. Since we had already been held here for 30 minutes we agreed to pay by cash if they could give us the cancelled charged receipt for the credit card transactions. She said this wouldn't be possible and the hostility began to increase.

We agreed to pay by cash since we wanted to get back to Vienna where we had been staying and didn't feel comfortable or welcome there anymore. Our only request was that the cash receipt match the credit card receipt so that we could dispute the charge with the credit card company. The waitress agreed - however, when she came back the receipt didn't match what we had been charged on the credit card. At this point we decided to take a stand! We spoke to the manager over the phone directly and after nearly an hour of being held there we said we were leaving without paying in cash.

Our credit card was indeed charged and the credit card company flagged the second transaction as a duplicate transaction and didn't process it.

We really felt that we were being held hostage here. Avoid this place and if you absolutely insist on eating here - pay...

I am torn about this review, because the food was good. The lower rating is related to payment. We had the same issue using credit card mentioned in a previous review. The staff informed that while the card was not declined, their system is not showing approved either. In fact the staff said he has never seen what he is seeing on his device before and insisted that we pay cash after trying three different credit cards. Mind you that we have not had any problem using our credit cards anywhere else throughout our trip. When we checked our bank accounts, it indeed already showed charge pending and we tried to show staff. He insisted that it’s not showing successful transaction on his end and we have not been charged. We did not have enough euros and overpaid part of our meal with USD. Once we left and checked our bank accounts again later, it shows three pending charges on the three cards we tried. What looks suspicious was that they were all for different amounts. We will end up paying for 4-5 times what the meal should have cost with now the headache of disputing charges with three banks. It put a damper on our trip and the hassle now is not worth the...

Opinion in English, because my duty is to warn everyone about this place. Maybe during the daylight it could be a good restaurant, but in the night it was horrible. Waitress brought us beer and cocktail about 15 minutes after order, but we thought "ok, a lot of people are here and maybe the coctail was difficult". But we were waiting for 2 burgers (uncompleted, but we were warned) almost 50 minutes!!! And then they were delivered lukewarm with completely cold fries!!! Additionally, during the waiting I ordered another beer, but I had to wait so long, that we finished our meal. Of cousre I wanted to cancel the order, there was no reason to stay longer at that place, then appreared troubles with cancelation, because of uncompetent waiter. Finally we had to pay the service charge, for the worst service I ever had, but it's only warning for others - I didn't complain becuse that information probably is in the menu.
