I get the fact that we are here talking about corporate franchise, but the manager of service crew is lacking some "human approach". This happened: I came with aim to get some stuff done on my laptop, so I ordered myself a coffee. I had a tightly packed lunch in a sealed box with me, so I just wanted from them to keep it cold for me until lunchtime so I can eat it later. Manager refused, reason: "They can't store a stranger's thing." The first barista I came in contact with (Klára I think) was friendly and helpful and wanted to store the lunch for me into the fridge, so kudos to her for that. The manager decided to undo the decision. So then I went to the next cafeteria right next to Starbucks and they happily, without any hesitation, stored my lunch with words: "Mm, that looks yummy!"
So I don't want to put it that way, but moral of the story: if a customer is a stranger, then why would you go there? I mean storing temporarily someone's lunch shouldn't be much of an issue even for a manager, if saying "customer is the king" is valid, right? Next time You u might be the stranger there... That's all, not a big deal, hope this will be taken as a constructive critique towards...
Read moreVery rude service. I would give 0 stars if it was possible. I went to Bratislava with my class, my friend group and I decided to go to the Starbucks. In front of us were also a friend group but they were from Bratislava unlike us, we are from vienna. The cashier was super nice to them and as soon as she heard us talking in German she looked at us with the most disgusting face. I ignored it and moved on to order my drink, all I got was rude reactions when I said something and eye rolls, the same with my friends. I couldn’t even enjoy my drink. I never felt that disrespected. After a few hours, I met some of my classmates at the mall and when I told them about the service, they said that the same thing...
Read moreMy wife and I visited in June 2016, which we made a special trip to Bratislava just to go to this new Starbucks. We travel the world and collect the Starbucks country mugs and were very disappointed when we had made this trip that they didn't have any yet. Not good Starbucks Slovakia. We had a sandwich which was good and cappuccino. The cappuccino was too hot which ruined it. I've noticed in other Starbucks that the staff put a temperature gauge in the milk while steaming it, but didn't take notice if they did it here. When I say it was too hot, it was extreme and ruined the coffee. We will be back to get the cup and hope the coffee is better next time. Nice cafe with...
