If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Košice, Karczma Młyn is an absolute must-visit! I rarely leave reviews, but after dining here, I felt compelled to share just how incredible this place is. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality, which immediately set the tone for an exceptional evening.

First, let's talk about the food—it was nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors, made from fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu offers a fantastic variety of traditional Polish and Slovak dishes, each prepared with a homemade touch that makes you feel like you're enjoying a meal straight from someone's family kitchen. We started with the pierogi, which were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The main courses were equally impressive—the pork knuckle was tender and flavorful, and the potato pancakes were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Portion sizes were generous, so come hungry!

The prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. It's rare to find a place that delivers such top-notch meals at such fair prices. We left feeling like we got excellent value for money, which only added to the experience.

And then there's the service, which was truly outstanding. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a recommendation or just checking in to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure every guest has a great time. They were...

Hmm. Little bit disappointed. Why you ask?

Decent restaurant, but the service needs improvement. Lot of improvement!!! We waited to be noticed for approx. 18 minites One drink forgotten ... twice, as we reminded the it was missing and they still didn't bring it Soup was on the "coldish" side, yet was of good taste It took over 30 minutes to get most of the dishes, one was forgotten Instead appologizing of forgetting it when we asked where it is, we got a story that it is taking longer due to 2 minutes delayed order ... So we waited another 15+ minutes for it to be ready

Two extras: Hard wood seating isn't the best choice for customers if you have to wait almost one hour to get food We saw minimum 2 tables of people stand up and leaving because they have been waiting for a long time

Make up your own mind. I personaly don't think I'll be visiting again in the next 100...

We went in and it looked nice. 1 minute after they gave us the menus, they asked what did we choose , but we haven’t and our waitress rolled her eyes at us. We waited 1 hour for burgers, which were really good.The prices were reasonable. We asked for Coca-cola, but they gave us Pepsi. We also asked for sprite, but they gave us 7-up. The portions of the food were really big. The wooden tables were really wonky and not straight, but looked cool. The bathroom is like a cave, wich is really unique.There are holes in the bathroom doors, and the toilet seat was not attached to the toilet. One of the doors could not close. There were a bunch of unique stuff on the wall. The music was fine and it was not too loud.

Over all: The food was pretty good. The service was honestly bad, and i think it is because of our waitress. The atmosphere was unique.
