Pizzeria Pomodoro — Restaurant in Maribor

Cozy pizzeria, with pizza only. Like really just pizza, they don't have anything else. They bake the pizzas on real flame, fed by wood. The pizzas are really tasty with authentic Italian-like pastry. There are a lot of pizza options, for vegetarians too. When they serve the food, they also give 3 kind of spiced olive oil, and 3 sauces (tomato that they use on the pizza, some white sauce with herbs, and spicy pepper chopped in olive oil).

The restrooms are nice and clean. The temperature inside wasnt too high, like 19-20C°. The waitress spoke English, but not perfectly, so we got sparkling mineral water instead of still, so make sure she understands your order. Recommended...

The pizza selection in Maribor is vast and diverse and mostly surprisingly agreeable, yet pomodoro is still my favourite. The pizza is not the most authentic or the biggest or the fanciest, it's just prepared extremly well out of good ingredients and it just tastes exactly the way I imagine a pizza should taste when I crave it. The wholegrain dough is definitely the best I had in any pizzieria, though I still prefer the regular one. The service is always wonderful. There is literally nothing I would change about this place and I would gladly recommend...

The best pizza in town, lots of original, tastefully chosen recipes to choose from! Great for vegetarians as well. Excellent service, fast and professional, the atmosphere is just lovely, this truly is one of the best pizza places to visit (they try to find you a table even when they're full, customer care is great). Not crazy about their homemade lemonade, but they have nice beer and wine, so fine by me. Deserts are traditional (tiramisu, pannacotta...) and always delicious.
