Fani&Rozi B&B — Hotel in Maribor

BREAKFAST IS A BIG FAILURE

The hotel location in in a good place, close to main attractions and riverside, good for walking around.

Room for overnight stay is ok, but we got only towel for body and no facial towels unfortunately..

The key disappointment here is breakfast, this was really the worst one we had ever.. very poor, all staff was just low quality, nothing about local delicates etc.. every piece was served exactly according to the amount of people of table. The exact amount of bread, tomatoes, salam etc. everything was just from the nearest supermarket without any idea to make breakfast “warm”, “tasty” and “supplemental “. Surprisingly, later when we have finished to eat, we found hidden card of offer to order omelette or other type of egg. This could be announced by the waiter at least or place at the visible place otherwise guests wont notice that.

There is nothing here about hospitality and “warm” welcome from the owners. Unfortunately, this place can not be...

Our stay at Fani and Rozi was idyllic. Located perfectly on the river and a block away from old town makes this the perfect location for a stay in Maribor. ||Along with amazing hospitality, the complimentary breakfast and dining experience provided a wonderful start to the days walks, strolls, and excursions.||Historic charm but with a clean and cozy remodel makes this place even better. The room was clean and so comfortable, making our stay feel just like home. What a comfy bed with good pillows too! Great shower as well! ||This is a place we would visit again and definitely recommend to other friends and family.||On top of that, what a nice city Maribor is. We stayed in the very center of Maribor where this hotel is located, and we were really impressed with how clean, comfortable, and welcoming it is. The staff are kind and helpful, and you can see they truly care about their work.

Although the hotel is right in the city center, just steps from the riverside promenade, it is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was tasty, freshly prepared, and quickly served.

Parking is available about 50 meters away. You can use city parking for free during the night or the garage next to the hotel (I paid €16 from 3 PM until 9 AM).

We definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Maribor or just need a place to rest...
