Everything could have been fine if it weren’t for the rude attitude of the staff members.
The location of this McDonald’s is very convenient — it’s right in the city center and open until midnight. We arrived in the city around 11 PM, and all other places had already closed their kitchens. Thankfully, we were able to have dinner here, which we really appreciated after a long road trip.
However, there were a couple of disappointing aspects. First, the restroom is not free — it costs €0.50 even for paying customers, which seems quite unreasonable for a fast food chain.
Second, another time we had a very unpleasant experience with the staff. We came as a group and placed two separate orders. One of them was ready quickly, but we had to wait over 20 minutes for the second one, which is unusual for McDonald’s. We politely asked a staff member if something had gone wrong. She took our receipt and went to check. So they just forgot about our order or gave it to someone else. A few minutes later, she returned and, in a rather rude tone, pointed to the our first order and asked if that was our order which we were asking about. We explained it wasn’t and showed her the second receipt. After that, in some time, our food was brought to us — but no one even said “sorry” during all the time. Instead, it felt like they were trying to blame us for their mistake.
Good location and long working hours, but customer service left a lot...
Read moreExtremely disappointing! I spent over 46 € on food and drinks at this McDonald’s, yet I was still charged to use the restroom. This is absolutely unacceptable and disgraceful for a global chain of this size. A paying guest who leaves that much money should never be forced to pay extra just to use basic facilities.
A restroom in a restaurant is not a luxury – it is a basic necessity and an integral part of customer service. In almost every reputable restaurant or fast-food chain, restrooms are free for guests – as they should be. Here, however, it seems the priority is squeezing money out of customers at every opportunity, even for something as fundamental as access to a toilet.
This policy says a lot about how customers are valued – or rather, not valued. Instead of feeling welcome and respected, I was left with the impression of being exploited.
For me personally, this experience means I will think twice before visiting McDonald’s again. I also recommend others to consider whether they want to support a practice where guests, after already spending a significant amount, are still charged to use the restroom. Shameful and unworthy of a brand that claims to be a global leader in...
Read moreDespite being a big fan of the McDonalds restaurant (I even write reviews on different McDonaldses in my personal blog!), I'm afraid I have to put a low rating for this particular one. Although the hall is fresh and new, the biggest problem of this place is a toilet. The problem is that one must always pay for the toilet, whether they are visitors or not. I realize that being a McDonalds in the city center means that everybody will come in just to pee around and there, perhaps, could be a reson to limit access to the toilets from outside, but making obstacles for the customers is non-sense! There is no option even to use a QR code from the receipt - you always must pay, and only in cash.
The next problem in the toilet is its water taps. There is a nicely looking system with sensor taps and sensor soap suppliers, but they work badly. It took me a few minutes to make water flow from the pipe and I failed to get soap.
Due to these reasons, I avoid going here, prefering other McDonaldses.
During my visit here there were some other issues, but they seem to be temporary and not something to pay too much attention too. But this toilet problem has to be...
