Verdi is a wonderful family-owned restaurant hidden in the narrow streets of Piran. My partner and I were looking for a peaceful place to dine at a reasonable price. At first, this seemed to be impossible. But when all hope seemed lost, we discovered Verdi. Here we ate a delicious fish caught by local fishermen and a homemade dessert accompanied by local wine. The service was attentive. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the price was reasonable according to Piran's standards.

I recommend this humble family restaurant if you are looking for some good seafood. However, a lack of vegetarian/vegan options on the menu might be a problem for some folks out there. Nevertheless, I felt that our dinner was worth...

Service was very friendly. The server informed us that they had only one cook so the food could take longer. We ordered the house wine, it was barley drinkable. On the next table a slowenian couple got also a 1l pitcher and it seemed to have a lighter color, so maybe there is a different wine for tourists, but can't confirm. A very fine restaurant hidden in the old town of Piran. I know the restaurant for years and it is still the place to be for seafood. The staff is very obliging and willing to fulfill all your extra wishes if you ask them. I can really recommend clams/mussels and the fish an all their offered varieties. But my special favorite are Adriatic Scampi Busara with pasta. Not a bargain, but worth every cent!
