Mixed feelings. Great drink prices, cool atmosphere, and decent music. The night I went it seemed like it was mostly college/ high school kids, lots of repetitive 2000s/2010s hip hop/rap popular American music - like over and over again without stop. From the teach me how to dougie to wobble and just ugh no. The vibe is cool though. There is a rooftop that overlooks Long Street and a small den with an arcade machine and seats like a clubhouse. Then you also have the main dance floor and a deck with more seats and another view of Long St. The place wasn't as crowded when I went on a Saturday, but other bars nearby like Tau were. 50 rand entry ($3) and they accept card.

Came here for a themed night (Taylor Swift), and I had so much fun! I felt safe, and I love that they have so many theme nights, however the drinks were rather expensive. When coming to themed nights, I recommend knowing the words to all the songs, otherwise you will probably feel a bit out of place. Also, try to dress up according to theme!

Reeks of piss, it’s absolutely disgusting but alright when it’s busy. Quite big with different sitting areas and the rooftop is nice. The entrance stairs is slippery many people fell; so having some stair stoppers would be a great investment

Had an awful experience at "The Waiting Room". Went there for their 'Doja Cat' evening on the 14th Jan. The barmen were so rude to me and even overcharged my friend. My friend ordered a drink and the barman gave her the wrong drink and charged her, I tried explaining to him that the order was wrong and he just needed to charge her the difference and give her the correct drink but he wouldn't listen and with the most hostile tone told me "Can you shut up!" - I was so taken aback and my friend told him again and he gave us some poor excuse and changed the drink and then overcharged her almost double the original price. Plus they kept repeating songs the whole night (you'd think hearing a Doja Cat song 3 times would be cool but it was just annoying) seriously what are we paying that...

Daughter&friend cane all the way from Northern Suburbs as its their 2nd time there.They enjoyed it but I don’t think its cool you charge a cover charge knowing you going have load shedding.If your genrerator isnt working You as a club/bar venue and should make refund your clientele or comp them for next time but you chose to picket the money… I am an ex club bouncer and consider your actions - Very unprofessional!I have read the reviews below-clean y toilets, fix y floors.alleged queer phobia not cool and put a bouncer inside and criminal elements keep out(another phone stolen out of bag.(no cameras??)Probably same thiefs everytime-then bouncers not doing job properly.I am going to the...
