Steers Long Street — Restaurant in City Centre

I am writing as the level of service received and food was utterly unacceptable and disgusting .

I ordered from steers in long street Cape Town and they had sent the wrong order x 2 burgers with no garnish , and as requested it was supposed to be 1 burger no garnish and 1 burger with garnish . Upon wanting to eat the burger I found the burger bun to be mouldy which is unacceptable and I am 8 months pregnant! . I contacted steers in long steers +27 (21) 422-2480 and told them the situation and they said they sending someone to fetch the burger and put the phone down in my ear (very unprofessional )!

The guy fetched my burger and he said his going to collect a new . He came back with a new burger I opened it up , the buns was hard and smelled old . I told the driver to please return the burger , and ask for a refund .

I have then contacted steers explained what’s happening and they put the phone down in my ear again! . this made me very upset and I called back again to speak to the manager , listening to their entire conversation in the background while waiting for manager , the lady asks for my contact number as the manager is not available and so that she can send me the expiry date of the rolls on WhatsApp. At this point I am fuming, hungry and disgusted with the level of service , my colleague then had to walk down to steers with the other burger and demand for a refund .

I will no longer be making use of steers and hope you do something about the management /...

I am highly disappointed at the horrible service I have recieved from Steers Long Street.

I ordered a double sharing meal 9:15 and estimated arrival was 9:45.

I waited for the food, next then 9:50 time was changed to thereafter 10:05 and again extended.

I contacted the driver and he said I should contact the store, I Google the number and called the store, I explained this to the lady that answered the phone and she just said the driver left the store while I was still taking she disrespectfully put down the phone!!!!.

The food comes and hour late, COLD with EXTREMELY OILY SOGGED CHIPS. To pay R200 for this meal is a waste!!!!

Extremely dissatisfied!!!!!!!!

Jeeez what horrible food they served me, i ordered a King steer meal, the patty is flowery, lettuce was yellow and the hot chips was just like slime in my mouth tasting like old fish oil. Wasted R145 on this mess, i dont recommend anyone to eat at long street Steers. I paid to a yoco machine, dont even look like the system is working, everything looks dull in there and the staff... eish we need something better in that space or atleast a new owner. The 1star is for the milkshake that was a actually nice and thick on this hot day and cooled me off, but just couldnt get myself to eat the burger and chips, but i gifted it to a homeless person, just didnt have thr heart to throw my money...
