My husband bought me a coffee earlier today at this location. Unfortunately, the cappuccino turned out to be extremely unpleasant, the most dreadful one I've ever tasted. I couldn't even bring myself to finish it, and within minutes, my stomach started to burn. As time passed, I began to feel nauseous and eventually ended up vomiting. Currently, I am at home, dealing with the discomfort of diarrhea and still experiencing considerable pain. I try give this Vida benefit of the doubt, but I am literally disappointed every single time I go. The food options have definitely improved lately however the coffee is shocking. 9 times out of 10 the order is incorrect. I order a cortado and I get a flat white, so today when I told the barista it’s supposed to be a cortado I get a click of the tongue and he walks off. Convenient spot in town to stop and grab a coffee and something to eat even before 8am. The store is large and offers ample space to sit down inside and people watch. Roeland Street is busy with foot traffic, and most times, it's also congested with cars, so finding parking to grab a coffee on the go can be challenging. The store is clean, tables and serving area clean.
