Fishaways — Restaurant in Gauteng

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went to fishaways to dine in...at the cashier we told the cashier that want to dine in and we were told that there are no plates, the lady showed us one plate which was already occupied by another customer...we were so triggered by these response in a way that we didn't even know what to say or do...the cashier went on said that she will dish us in boxes...we paid and then went to sit down while were sitting we thought about dining in and eating in takeaway boxes we decided to ask the cashier to give us take aways instead then we took our food home...when we get home our hakes were grilled instead of fried...in overall we were not satisfied...

I've placed a online order via the Fishaways App on 28/4/2019 and payed by credit card. After accepting my order, the system informed me that this branch does not do deliveries to my area or address. I was'nt thst day, able to go collect my order myself. Ever since, I am struggling and suffered a lot off extra cellphone costs to the manager and/or every possible person who could assist me with a refund. Uptill today, no response whatsoever or assistance to solve my problem, were received from management to refund me. I even gave them my banking details for a refund. I don't recommend this branch at all! Please take extremely care before you order...

We ordered fish here in the past and was happy but for the last to visits. Will never ever buy there again. The medium portion hake was 55 g and 8 chips for R59. 99. The food was so pathetic with the calamari that looked like a plant that was never watered. And ilthere was about 12 small rings in the packet with lemon on top to fill up the packet. Not at all value for money. Rather buy from your local fish as chips shop. Furious xxx my family was hungry after dinner that...
