Update: i was contacted by steers menlo park and they promised to ensure that my frustrations would be addressed. they offered to replace my meal and asked me to give them another chance. Yesterday 29 Jan 2025, they contacted me to arrange delivery of the meal. I received the replacement meal at 17:30, but it was missing one large chips.. they then said they would send the missing chips, which arrived at 18:30... way to go guys.
We have been consistently going to this steers for Wacky Wednesday for years. We have had multiple issues, with wrong orders, missing items from orders, burgers that look like they have been made by a 2 year old etc. today was the last straw, we order 2 x Wacky Wednesday, beef with cheese and 2 x chips. When I got to the collection window, they handed me a bag, but it only had the burgers in. Then they turned away and were chatting amongst themselves, they eventually asked if I was ok and I said no, can I please get the chips. They clearly didn’t read the order…. Then when I got home to take the food out, there was no cheese on the burgers. I called the store and the manager asked when I will be there again, so that she can give me the cheese. How can a store operate like this. What will I do with 4 pieces of cheese, when I go past there again. I don’t know who owns this store, but this place is losing customers, due to the poor attention the detail. This store has the potential to do extremely well, due to its location, but the lack of hands on management and training for the staff and the incompetence is really preventing this store from thriving. I am a long standing customer, who (used to) come there every week, but I will not return and I will spread the news on how pathetic the service...
Read moreOnce again! The lack of professionalism from the staff is appalling. In February i placed an order in Menlo Park and my order was 3 hours late but when it finally came, i realized after the driver had left that it was the wrong order. I called in to inform them that they delivered the wrong food and i was transferred from pillar to post by the staff. I asked to speak to the manager (Clement) and he hung up on me. I finally received the correct order 6 hours later.
A few days later the owner (Carla) called me and apologized on behalf of her staff and sent me a complementary meal. I was very happy with the way she handled the situation and decided to move past the ordeal.
Today ( 29 March 2017) i placed an order at 11:30 am and i called in at 13:20 pm to inquire as to way the order is so late, a lady by the name of Alice answered the phone and had no valid reason as to why the order is late. I asked to please speak to the manager of which i spoke to a man( i didn't get his name) and he hung up on me.
I will never used that steers ever again and so will the company i work at. My boss is very frustrated at me because the food was for her clients after their meeting, i was reprimanded by my boss for someone...
Read moreAbsolutely horrific service. Waited patiently while the manager struggled to get the cash register working, got greeted by the cashier as if I’m not welcome and I’m an inconvenience. Waited almost 40min for my food (which is understandable since it was just after they opened, but would’ve appreciated a heads-up). Got my order and there were no fries included, although I ordered a meal. Tried to get the cashiers attention (she went to the kitchen to chat with her colleagues) I could see how they tried to avoid me, so I went begind the counter where the chief decided to assist me. Told him there were no fries in my order, he said nothing and just took my takeaway bag and went back into the kitchen to fix my order. When I was waiting in front of the cashier for my order, the cashier walked past me and said to another worker ‘is he going upstairs’ laughing with a smug face. Never in my life have I witnessed such arrogance from a place where I’m paying to receive a product. They eventually gave me my order and didn’t even say a word to me, no apologies, not even a thank you. I will make this my mission to tell everyone I know in that area to not make use of...
