What an absolute disgrace!!
We waited 20-25 minutes for two iced cappuccinos to take away and when the order finally arrived we were terribly dissapointed to say the least - this was simply coffee with water & then ice added to such mix which tasted terrible.
I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty Wiseman who told us he would repeat the order with him himself making the iced cappuccinos this time with milk ( so the first time I take it no milk was added ) but his effort was no better.
There was another family who was also extremely irritated by the service of the crew on duty, the lady told me that she had waited 45 minutes for a salad and when that order had in fact arrived it was the wrong order, the staff seemed lost and stressed out - one shudders to think what the outcome would be if in fact the store was busy.
My smoothie then finally arrived ( another ten minutes later ) and I left the store apprehensive of how that would taste - frankly I just wanted to get out of there.
Never never go back - walk away!
12/10/2025: Shocking service as usual - place my order at the till & at least half a dozen staff members at the back of the shop proceed to do absolutely nothing about my order. When after 5 minutes of no response I query such I get told that they did not see my order coming through on their internal order screens / displays never mind the fact that I am seated at a table waiting with an order number metal stand given to me when I originally placed my order!!

The food is always nice and the place clean 😋 but unfortunately the staff is not properly trained 😑 I took my discovery voucher and she new nothing about what to do but i explained,ordered my food and my partners food all good she was supposed to scan the code and did not when I remind her she set so sorry let me do it quickly but she did not because on the bill was no deduction, 1 small smoothie 1 small cappuccino and the food coast almost R300 . can't communicate with them thy don't understand. Read moreI frequently go to this Kauai, however, I was concerned with the crew looking fatigued, especially the lady who processes orders and serves me with the warmest smile and happiness. She looked unwell, and presumably because of how inconsiderate retail is, she was most probably forced to report for duty, with no care in the world about her health.
May I suggest that the management/Franchisor of the Kauai in greenstone take the needs and wellbeing of their employees into account.
