I wish I could give no stars at all.

I visited Nando's today at Campus Square, placed my order, and made the payment. I received an SMS from my bank (Nedbank) confirming the transaction went through. I showed the message to the staff member assisting me, and he said he would call the manager.

When the manager arrived, he told me I had to pay again because their system hadn't processed the payment, as there was no receipt. I explained that the funds had already been deducted from my account, but he insisted I pay again. His attitude was rude, and when I asked to speak to his superior, the boss was equally unhelpful and dismissive. He stated I had to pay again, assuring me that my bank would refund me.

Frustrated, I decided to leave and called my bank. The Nedbank consultant confirmed that the funds had been successfully deducted and advised that Nando's should email them to reverse the payment. I returned to Nando's with the consultant still on the phone. The consultant then informed the manager that the funds had been processed and they needed to send an email for the reversal.

What shocked me the most was that the manager never offered an apology for the inconvenience caused. Given the terrible service and lack of professionalism, I will never return to Nando's Campus...
