I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nando's Menlyn Park, and I am delighted to share that the experience exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the friendliness of the staff was truly remarkable.
First off, the staff deserve a standing ovation. Every single staff member I interacted with was attentive, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was memorable. Their excellent service made me feel more like a guest than a customer, adding a personal touch to the whole experience. I also noticed the staff's diligent attention to detail and their keenness to maintain cleanliness, which are crucial aspects in this current climate.
Now, onto the star of the show - the food. The quality and taste were nothing short of excellent. Nando's is known for its flavorful and deliciously spicy chicken, and Menlyn Park certainly upholds that reputation! The chicken was cooked to perfection, succulent and flavorful, and the sides complemented the main course beautifully. It was apparent that the food was prepared with care and skill, which speaks volumes about their high culinary standards.
But what stood out to me the most was the consistency in the quality of both service and food. This is a testament to the level of professionalism and the commitment of the Nando's Menlyn Park team to deliver a top-notch dining experience.

I then told the lady at the till who had attitude that I'll take it with just 3 sides and that they should cancel that 4 sides order and create a new 3 sides so I pay for that. She called her manager who seemed to be struggling to make this happen. He was telling me some stories about how the order came from national and how difficult it is to cancel it. I then told him, I could've easily not come to collect and they would've been forced to cancel. After this he said give me 4 minutes as somehow my salad was now going to be provided. I waited for 10 minutes and the manager was no where to be seen. I then had to leave this nandos as well as the food due to the disgusting customer service I was given. You know it's one thing to get customer service wrong, but it's another to get it wrong on a family day like Sunday. I called the call centre after this ordeal to get another meal from the nandos in the mall and they were shocked as to this nandos not having the salad as they should have been informed. Read moreI have a friend who had a bad experience at this store when ordering take away food. His phone was stolen while at the counter, on the 29th July 2018. The thief ran off into an awaiting car just outside the store. The driver of the gateway car, conveniently opened the passenger side door for the thief. After complaining to the manager on duty, he assured that my friend would get a phone call from the branch manager the next day. No response to date. According to the police where the case was reported this is the second case in 5 days from the same store. As per police records another incident of cell phone theft was reported on the 24th of July.
